If you love shopping for gifts, treats and extraordinary occasions, you need to put ‘Dilly Dally’ on the top of your ‘to do’ list! This unique shop in the centre of Pershore is just the place to browse for that elusive something different, from Bohemian clothing to colourful caricatures. There’s something wonderful in every nook and cranny, often items made from organic or recycled fabrics or perhaps incense, jewellery or seasonal bouquets.

The people behind this fascinating shop are Amanda and Andy Meanock, who met as art students and started out by buying Amanda’s parents’ market business. As they sold on the traditional stock of bags they replenished with Fair Trade goods from developing countries, ethically sourced goods from the UK and their own specialities, eventually moving into the Broad Street shop.
Amanda specialises in 3D art and floral arrangements including seasonal wreaths and bouquets, made from flowers which are locally grown.

Andy hand draws and paints witty caricatures, including personalised ones commissioned by customers. These he makes from photographs, perhaps adding in detail to do with the subject’s personal hobbies or interests. He also sells posters and prints of caricatures based on films and famous folk. He is currently working on a range based on the Lewis Carrol classic Alice in Wonderland. See www.andymeanock.com and Etsy @ CultCartoons.
