There are beautiful views from all rooms, over grounds which feature woodland, lawns and gardens or over the open countryside of Occitanie, famed for both its fine wines and its gastronomy.
A large living room provides a welcoming space with Chesterfield sofas, a baby grand piano and a living fire, while the impressive kitchen provides ample cooking facilities and rustic dining space for all. In fine weather, guests often take meals on the outside terracing. The hosts can happily arrange for a private chef to cook a celebration spread or bringing in experts from the local vineyards to put on tailor-made wine tastings.

Cahors is on a major pilgrimage route which includes the famous shrine of Rocamadour, which is easily visited from Chateau Joncasses.
