Spice Cottages blend the charm of 150-year-old farm-based stone buildings with the comfort and convenience of modern amenities in County Tyrone. The four delightful cottages offer the very best of self-catering accommodation. Commanding a top notch five star rating on the travel website TripAdvisor, they are also well-placed for visiting premium tourist attractions, including the Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, many Game of Thrones filming locations, the scenic Mountains of Mourne and the Titanic Experience in Belfast.
The largest of the Spice Cottages, Nutmeg, sleeps up to eight people and has disabled access and a spacious downstairs bedroom. The others sleep six people each and all are family-friendly, fully furnished and equipped to high and extremely comfortable standards for families, groups or business travellers.
They can be booked together for larger parties if wished, making them ideal for extended families travelling for weddings at one of several local venues, or for other key celebrations.
The properties are on a 40 acre farm in the countryside of Dungannon. Friendly alpacas, Shetland ponies and goats provide a welcome, while shared facilities include a games room with table tennis and air hockey, exciting outdoor play equipment and an attractive barbecue area where everyone can meet and mingle.
Locally, attractions include a distillery, country parks with excellent walks and cycle routes, and the living history of Ulster Folk Museum in Omagh.
