Ice Lipo, or cryolipolysis, cools stubborn fat cells to a frosty -5°C, causing them to be painlessly destroyed. The body then eliminates them naturally over the course of a few weeks, leaving behind a trimmed down figure. The technique is frequently used by health conscious people who exercise but have limited areas of stubborn fat, perhaps on their stomach, back, hips or thighs.
Laser Lipo provides instant results, removing 1 to 2 inches of fat at a time. Like Ice Lipo it is painless and non-invasive but it works by melting the fat rather than freezing it. Once the laser energy has done its work the body’s lymphatic system disperses the fatty acids created, aided by the client doing at least 30 minutes of exercise soon afterwards. This form of treatment is ideal for people who want to look their best for a special occasion.
One of the newest treatments available at Orchids Spa uses Intense Pulsed Light to permanently remove unwanted hair. The IPL method can be used on unsightly facial hair, bikini lines and anywhere else that hair is unwelcome and unwanted. It can also treat acne and skin discolouration.
The spa has a hairdressing salon and offers many different forms of luxurious beauty treatments, specialist massages, chiropractic, waxing and microdermabrasion to turn back the years.
