Little River Glamping offers the chance to visit Northern Ireland’s most famous tourist attractions – including the iconic Giant’s Causeway – but also enables guests to get close to nature on a family-friendly farm. This exquisitely peaceful spot has resident sheep, cattle, ducks and geese as well as an abundance of visiting wildlife, a riverside picnic area and a quite amazing night time starscape.
Run by a couple with four children of their own, the farm is just nine miles from the famous Causeway Coast with its ruggedly beautiful beaches, coves and harbour villages. Close by are the famous Dark Hedges of the fantasy TV series Game of Thrones, while local amenities include several good restaurants and take-aways which deliver to the site.
Little River Glamping accommodation is all cosy and comfy with real beds, cushions, rugs, firepits and outdoor seating. There is a dome tent for the larger family, a bell tent with a hot tub for romantic weekends and a yurt which sleeps six and includes a play tent.
Each group has its own private facilities in a modern shower and toilet block nearby and there are shared kitchen and laundry facilities.
Owner Yvonne says: “We want our guests to have a really lovely and memorable rural adventure with us.”
