A member of Worcestershire Guild of Craftsment, she uses skills from 20 years as a textiles teacher to turn classic hats and fascinators into showstoppers. She also makes items bespoke for individual customers, using their own choice of styles, colours and detailing.

“It’s fully safe and secure,” she says. “We use sanitiser, face masks and frequent cleaning, of course, but also disposable shower caps for when people are trying things on. Each handled item is then ‘rested’ for three days.
“There is a lovely seating area with a mirror and customers say they are enjoying having the personal time without interruption.”
Kerry also offers millinery workshops for two, or occasionally three people, so they can craft their own headpieces under her ‘Gold Standard’ tuition. These are held in her studio at The Fold, a delightful cluster of independent businesses just 10 minutes’ drive from Worcester city centre.
