Broome Park owners Catherine and John Evans are passionately ‘green’ and have this year won the West Midlands Tourism Award for Best B&B or Guest Accommodation.
While COVID 19 persists, rooms in the guest wing are being rented one at a time or exclusively to a single family or bubble. They are a standard double and a double which can be a family room for four, with spacious sitting and dining rooms. There is play space with a trampoline and guests can learn about farming and help out if they wish.
Catherine says: “We are a mixed beef, sheep and arable farm. There are always cattle, sheep and chickens and often pigs. We use our own sausages, bacon, eggs and apple juice and I love teaching people where their food comes from and supporting other local businesses and producers. People can feed the animals, collect the eggs and sometimes, in spring, bottle feed the lambs.”
