Cosy, comfortable and super-rural, the self-contained holiday apartments of Broad Close Farm, Devon offer the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday with immense scope for exploring. The two properties are located near Tiverton, just 20 minutes from the M5 and within 15 minutes’ drive of the romantic wilds of Exmoor. The splendid North Devon beaches, alluring sights of Somerset, Dorset and even Cornwall, are all within easy reach.
Broad Close is set in secluded countryside on a working smallholding with abundant wildlife and affable farm animals including Devon Ruby Red cows, free range hens, sheep and several personable pigs.
As one-bedroomed properties, the apartments adjoin the farmhouse of friendly owners Rob and Jane Mathews. They are mainly aimed at adults, but the larger, Oaksberry can also accommodate an additional two adults, or children, on a living room futon.
Both well furnished, fully equipped apartments can take one well behaved dog, by arrangement. Depending on size, Oaksberry may take two. Each have fenced gardens with patios; Hornbeam’s overlooking fields and Oaksberry’s overlooking a walled garden where a busy bird feeder attracts numerous species. Secure bike storage and an electrical vehicle charging point are available.
