Planning a holiday should be about excitement, not limitations. Across the UK, a growing collection of accessible holiday destinations is making it easier for families to enjoy time away together, combining thoughtful design and specialist facilities with the comfort and character you would expect from a memorable break.
From the peaceful Lancashire countryside and the landscapes of the Lake District to Cornwall and the New Forest, these accessible family escapes have been created with a wide range of needs in mind. Level access, wet rooms, ceiling-track hoists, profiling beds and wheelchair-friendly kitchens are joined by everything from accessible hot tubs and hydrotherapy pools to watersports and beautiful outdoor spaces.
Most importantly, these are places designed for holidays first – giving families greater freedom to relax, explore and make memories together.
