Hopley’s Family Camping has been providing happy holidays in the Worcestershire countryside for many years, but it just keeps getting better and better. It now offers not only camping but glamping, all served by excellent amenities including freshly cooked food in The Rustic Pizza and the Courtyard Café, a farm shop and high quality play areas.
The site, near Bewdley, is on the edge of the picturesque Wyre Valley, ideally placed for enjoying the beautiful walks, bike trails, river cruises, canoeing and kayaking. Nearby attractions include the Go Ape treetop and zip wire thriller, heritage rides on the Severn Valley Railway and the West Midlands Safari Park with its impressive residents including rare white rhinos, lions, tigers and elephants.
Open all year, the Hopley’s campsite has pitches for tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes, RVs and caravans. Glamping accommodation reopens at Easter with a choice of bell tents, yurts and a handcrafted shepherd’s hut which has electricity laid on.
All guests benefit from the use of modern toilets and showers with disabled access, laundry and washing up facilities, a junior assault course, children’s play area and fishing lake.
The Rustic Pizza serves both eat in and take out meals and doubles as a bar and has greatly extended its heated outdoor seating area this year. As COVID restrictions allow there will also be live entertainment.
