The district of Wychavon has been named as one of the best areas in the country to live in.
Wychavon has been ranked fourth nationally and has ranked highest in the West Midlands region in the 2017 Halifax Quality of Life Survey.
The Halifax Quality of Life Survey takes into account factors such as residents’ health and life expectancy, personal wellbeing, earnings, education, housing and leisure.
Councillor Linda Robinson, Leader of Wychavon District Council, said: “We’re delighted that once again Wychavon has been confirmed as one of the best places to live in the country. It’s obviously no surprise to those of us who call it home as we know it has much to offer like beautiful surroundings, a strong and well supported economy and a strong sense of community spirit.
“As with all things in life there’s always room for improvement and we’re committed to working with our partners to do all we can to make Wychavon an even better place to live, work and visit and by doing so give the people here the best possible quality of life.”
