Worcester Glamping yurts and bell tents provide such cosy, comfy camping that customers have been using them for their wedding celebrations. You too can book this splendid budget accommodation in picturesque countryside only 30 minutes’ riverside walk from Worcester city centre. Use it for amazing holidays, short breaks or private celebrations.
Run by dairy farmer Tristan Bennett and his wife, Stefania, this glamorous campsite overlooks the Malvern Hills and supports a herd of 240 Holstein Friesians. The yurts have their own woodburning stoves, proper single or double beds plus sofa beds, coffee table, dresser and electricity supply, with bedding provided. The yurts have removable tops so campers can literally sleep under the stars if they wish.
Stays are supported by a shower block each for the yurts and bell tents, washing up facilities, fridge and freezer, fire pits, barbecues and space to pitch a children’s tent next door. There’s even a pub on site serving meals and drinks.
Some customers hire the whole site for special events, using the site’s 8 X 20 metre yurt marquee with dance floor, stage and bar.
Says Tristan: “We have had hen parties, groups of old university friends getting together, special birthday gatherings and weddings. We are very flexible. People can do their own catering, provide their own music and keep their costs right down.”
