TRIED AND TESTED THE MANOR ARMS

TRIED AND TESTED THE MANOR ARMS

Tried and Tested – The Manor Arms Abberley

Visiting the Severn Valley Railway was a recent treat for my whole family, but that perfect day out was complemented by a luxurious overnight stay a short drive away at The Manor Arms, a thoroughly excellent venue in Abberley, near Worcester.

Expectations are always high when you know a place has 5 Star AA rating, along with 2 AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence, but our stay was truly exceptional.

We stayed in one of six spacious en-suite rooms bursting with lovely features including a roll top bath overlooking the rolling Worcestershire countryside, a double free standing shower and the use of fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers. The bed was enormous and made up with a downy duvet. It was so comfortable I could barely make myself get out of it!

Our evening meal in The Manor Arms restaurant was delicious and beautifully presented. It was chosen from a menu rich with appetising dishes to suit every taste from superior pub classics, chargrilled steaks and salads to unusual, quite possibly unique mains, followed by exquisite sweets. All meals are prepared with the freshest and tastiest produce by the expert in-house chefs.

Breakfast next morning was an absolute delight, featuring full English, Continental, cereals, pastries and juices.

The service and location were absolutely perfect. No wonder the Manor Arms is frequently chosen as a wedding venue!
