The Elgar Room
Set in the heart of Great Malvern, against the stunning backdrop of the Malvern Hills, this unique venue is the perfect location for yourwedding, civil partnership ceremony or blessing.
Walking through the grand entrance into the historic council house, you can admire the intricate stained glass windows, oak staircase and impressive hallway, ideal for your special day.
After your ceremony you will step out of this beautiful building straight into a photographer’s paradise. Enjoy a romantic stroll around the Victorian gardens of Priory Park and marvel at some of England’s finest scenery
The Elgar Room can accommodate ceremony parties of 50.
There is disabled access to the Council House to ensure that all your family and friends can attend your special day.
Charges for the Elgar Room
£125 for a half hour ceremony
£250 for an hour long ceremony

Please Note This fee is for the hire of the Elgar Room only, a separate fee is payable for the Registrar’s attendance.

The Elgar Room is available as follows:
Thursdays half hour ceremonies, 10.00 – 15.00 inclusive
Fridays hour ceremonies, 10am -3pm inclusive
Saturday mornings, hour ceremonies, 10am -11am inclusive Saturday afternoons (1 per month), hour ceremonies only, 1pm – 4pm inclusive
Amendments and cancellations will incur a charge
