The Downs Malvern | Worcestershire
The Downs Malvern is located on the beautiful western side of the Malvern Hills within a stunning 55-acre campus. We provide our children with a safe, secure and caring environment and the spacious grounds give them every opportunity to thrive and enhance their learning.
Pupils can join Pre-Prep from the age of three, or ‘rising three’, and can stay with us until the end of Year 2 at the age of seven. All of our pupils in Pre-Prep are very precious, and it is so important that they feel safe and happy.
The Prep School covers Years 3 to 8 and the transition from Pre-Prep to Prep is a seamless one.
The Year 3 and Year 4 children are gently encouraged to become more independent in their thinking, learning and personal organisation. They spend around 60% of their time with their class teacher, who teaches them the core subjects, and they spend the remaining time moving around the school for their lessons in Design Technology, Art, Music, French, Science and Games.
