Treasured pieces of furniture can be returned to their original pristine glory with professional care and attention from the Worcestershire company Steve Priest Restoration.
This respected business has more than 30 years’ experience of repairing and restoring traditional and antique furniture using the finest French polishing processes and high quality paints and varnish.
It does not only work on old furniture but on modern pieces too.
furniture items of any kind bespoke to customers’ wishes, including complete dining suites, bedrooms and kitchens.
The business was started by cabinet maker Steve Priest back in 1983. He and restoration specialist Paul Allies both take pride in working closely with customers and producing quality work using all kinds of timber including oak, ash, walnut, mahogany and pine. They invite customers to visit their workshop to watch them work and add their own ideas. Some even bring their own plans along, to have their dreams made real.
“When we restore pieces the idea is to make it look as if it hasn’t been restored,” says Steve.
“When we make new pieces everything is built exactly to the customer’s specification, so it will be just as they want it, fit their spaces and meet their needs.”
