Catwalk for a Cause
Staff at the Mount Pleasant Hotel in Malvern will be taking to the catwalk in June to showcase local businesses and, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This year the theme for the hotel’s annual fundraiser is Fun, Fashion and Fundraise. Ledbury based Raft Clothing will showcase clothes and accessories, promising guests an evening shopping experience with inspiring and eclectic collections and, exclusive discount vouchers to spend in-store afterwards.
Guests will also be entertained during the evening by the Capriccio Quartet and thanks to the support of so many local independent businesses, there will be some fantastic raffle prizes to be won.
Taking place at the Mount Pleasant Hotel on 7th June, the evening promises to be full of fun and inspiring fashion. Starting at 6.30 pm with welcome drinks, nibbles, the fashion show, buffet and a raffle.
Macmillan staff helps people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support Macmillan doesn’t receive government funding and rely on donations and money raised by supporters.
AJ Bains, General Manager, Mount Pleasant added: “We have received some great support from the community for the charity fashion show; be it volunteers to model the clothes to some amazing raffle prize donors. Our charity fashion show is our small way of contributing to a big cause. The hardworking staff of Macmillan provide reassurance and support to those affected by cancer.
