RAISING THE PROFILE OF WORCESTERSHIRE
Worcestershire has one of the fastest growing economies in the country. It is a great place to live, visit, work and to invest.
To raise the profile of the development opportunities and the skilled staff that Worcestershire has to offer, a new approach to promote the county, regionally, nationally and internationally has been launched.
The new Worcestershire brand is not owned by any one organisation or partner. It reflects pride in championing the county and has been developed to support and promote inward investment strategies.
The brand has been designed to give an identity to businesses inside the county and attract investment from outside the county. The brand has been made to appeal to people of all ages and showcase Worcestershire as an exceptional place to live, work, visit and invest. Businesses are being given an opportunity to become stakeholders by joining the ‘Worcestershire 1000’, giving firms an opportunity to promote the county regionally, nationally and internationally.
The approach has been developed by local businesses working alongside the LEP, Worcestershire County Council and the University of Worcester. A film to showcase the county has been produced by the Worcestershire-based creative agency DRP group.
