Jackson Family Funeral Directors compassionate, caring and individual

Bereaved families always receive compassionate, caring and completely individual service from Jackson Family Funeral Directors, an independent business dedicated to providing exemplary service from the first contact to the last detail.

Based in Upton upon Severn, Jackson Family’s funerals are all planned bespoke to each customer’s preferences, as plain or elaborate and as traditional or individual as they wish. Whatever they choose, they can rely on timely, professional and thoughtful attention throughout and know that these experienced professionals will handle everything to perfection.

The company is run by qualified funeral director Matthew Jackson, assisted by his wife, Laura. Customers always have ample time in which to gather their thoughts, consider their choices and reach the kind of arrangements which will bring comfort and closure to all concerned.

Matthew has considerable experience of arranging funerals from traditional to highly personalised. They range from military funerals complete with a Guard of Honour, standard bearers and a catered reception through to the simplest of send offs, perhaps just a private cremation with no-one present, followed by a family gathering where people say their goodbyes in their own way.

Jackson Family can arrange everything from flowers to headstones and scattering of remains everywhere from the seaside to the borders of space. It also has a strong offering in relation to ‘green’ funerals with eco-friendly caskets in perhaps wicker or bamboo. People can even plan and pay for their own funeral in advance.

“The trend is going in two directions,” says Matthew, “At one end a very bespoke, very personal funeral and at the other a direct cremation, as a lot of people just don’t want a fuss.”

Jackson Family have just been announced as Worcestershire Funeral Directors of the Year in SME Midlands Enterprise’s 2018 awards.
