Yoga may be the answer and where better to try it than The Zen Shed in Worcester. With many varieties of yoga and meditation on offer there is something to suit everyone no matter what body shape, size or age.

The Zen Shed is the brainchild of Guy and Cindy, yoga teachers who left corporate careers to spend three years in India immersed in the history and traditions of yoga.  When they returned to Worcestershire in 2017 they found the ideal spot for their studio at 54 New Street, Worcester.

With over 3,000 square feet of space, the studio offers 3 light filled practice areas plus reception, changing rooms, showers and a chill-out zone. There are over 40 classes a week, all lead by specialist teachers, catering to all abilities.

Among the classes are:

Vinyasa flow yoga, which combines movement and breath patterns.

Hot Yoga, which takes place in a heated, humid environment to both work and detox the body.

Yin Yoga, a slower practice to help with flexibility and calming the mind.

Kundalini Yoga, incorporating movement, chanting and meditation.

Tai Chi, an energy based practice using the forces of yin and yang

Warm Barre, a yoga / ballet fusion

There is even monthly Dog Yoga, a fun and relaxing class for you and your dog.
