Local personal trainer Dean Phillips is providing regular fitness sessions to support Evesham-based businesses with a vision for investing in their teams’ mental health and wellbeing.
Working with companies like Evesham-based Karndean flooring – pictured here – local businesses are investing in their employees’ mental health and wellbeing with regular workouts on site and in lunch hours to suit the needs of their team.
Based on Vale Park, Evesham the award-winning Karndean team supply homes and businesses with design flooring. Karndean are already a local success story, having been awarded a gold accreditation in Investors in People, and continue their investment in the health of their employees by recruiting Dean to undertake regular fitness as part of their teams’ working day.

Dean is keen to share this practice with other local businesses who are keen to promote wellbeing at work. Along with the obvious health benefits, regular exercise helps organisations to develop their employees, improve performance and demonstrate how people-focused the business is, which in return helps to attract and retain employees.
Karndean’s Head of HR, Helen Glass, said: “It is true to say that it’s not just our great products that make this business successful, it’s our people!”
