Editor’s Choice The Town House Bed & Breakfast Skipton
For a great stay in Skipton, the historic ‘Gateway to the Dales’, book into The Town House bed & breakfast. You’ll have fantastic value, clean, comfortable accommodation within a few yards of the award winning high street and all its welcoming shops, bars, restaurants and live entertainment. There’s also a cinema, two theatres and a leisure centre, not to mention a well preserved medieval castle.
The Town House has single, double, twin and family rooms which together can accommodate 18 people. They are all en suite and have TV with Sky channels, tea and coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi and complimentary toiletries, plus private car parking.
The full English breakfasts are unfailingly popular and attract many compliments and there is also the unusual bonus of the Number 1 Tea Room on the premises, open all day and serving a delicious array of home baked breads, savouries and cakes.
Special diets can be accommodated and it is hoped soon to add an extra four guest bedrooms which will provide bed with continental breakfasts.
Run by Mick Courcier and his partner, Jacqueline, The Town House has many regulars who go back again and again.
Mick says: “We’re literally seconds from the town centre, where there’s always something going on, yet because we’re not on a main road it’s nice and quiet.
“Skipton has been voted Britain’s best place to live.”
