Editor’s Choice Suzanne Davies Psychologist
People living with anxiety, depression, low self esteem and uncertainty can find themselves pleasantly surprised when they find they’re not at all unusual – and they don’t have to keep feeling so bad! Even a single appointment with psychologist Dr Suzie Davies can give them tools that they can use, going forward, to improve their mood and help them cope with whatever the world throws at them next.
Suzie is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist working in private practice in Bromsgrove, having formerly had 14 years’ experience of working in the NHS. She is an integrative practitioner using a range of recognised therapies to help individual clients connect with their own authentic personality and decide their own best goals and actions.
Clients go to her with all manner of issues, from relationship difficulties to OCD, often feeling inexplicably ‘stuck’ in an unsatisfactory situation.
“There are a lot of myths out there about what people think is normal,” says Suzie. “There is a self critical voice that goes on in people’s heads, but mostly what people express is perfectly ‘normal’. Often, therapy is about the client realigning with what is important to them, rather than someone else.
“Whatever the issue that brings them to me, they learn strategies which they can use ongoing, not just on that one thing. Nobody goes away empty handed.”
