Editor’s Choice Keystone Cocktail Club Worcester
Mixing drinks is wicked fun at Keystones Cocktail Club, Worcester city centre’s buzzing party venue. From Tuesday to Saturday it showcases the bartender’s art in taste sensations from around the world, crafted by the glass. Other times it’s available for private masterclasses in mixing your own, which is mega entertainment for that hen night, corporate team building or stand-out celebration.
Keystones cocktails come delivered with panache as well as garnish. They use exotic quality ingredients, precision blended and served to suit the mood. Every one’s an adventure, from Jam Jar Daiquiri (Bacardi with strawberry jam, fresh lime and strawberry fraise) to the Bramble (Bombay gin, lemon juice, sugar and Chambord black raspberry liqueur). Choosing a tipple is a crack in itself, with some cheeky options!
John Paul Batterton has shaken up the local bar industry since opening Keystones in 2013, equipped with 15 years’ experience and a self taught speciality in cocktails.
“We emphasise good drinks, quality and customer satisfaction,” he says. “We’ve created the perfect environment for an exceptional, all-consuming customer experience with plenty of fun.”
Keystones Cocktail Club opens from 5pm until 1 or 3am. Happy hours and bargain deals add extra zest.
Cocktail masterclasses cater for two to 30 people, with larger groups split into two. Talented tutors mix it up bespoke for customers, perhaps with gin specific cocktails.
