Editor’s Choice Hussingtree Gin
If you love all things Worcestershire, you’ll adore Hussingtree Gin. The company’s flavoursome range of artisan tipples is unique, intriguing and inspired by the county’s extraordinary range of quality produce. And just as Worcestershire continues to grow its own, Hussingtree Gin will use that tasty bounty to expand the lip-smacking selection and please discerning drinkers everywhere.
The family-owned company launched in summer 2018 and currently produces four exceptional one-shot gins:
- Hussingtree Asparagus Gin, utilising choice spears from the Vale of Evesham asparagus crop for a wonderfully refreshing flavour. Silver Medal winner at the Global Spirits Masters 2019.
- Hussingtree Bumbleberry Gin uses three berries, cinnamon and supporting ingredients for a deep, warming effect. One Star winner at the Great Taste Awards 2019.
- Hussingtree Juneberry Gin, featuring fruit from Pershore Juneberries, the UK’s only commercial producer of this Canadian berry.
- Hussingtree Spiced Plum Gin combines local plums with juniper and other botanicals for unexpected joy on the palate.
All are personally distilled by the family using traditional methods and authentic alembic copper stills.
The company is run by Duncan Gilroy and his mum and stepfather, Elaine and Richard Meredith. They named it after the Merediths’ home village, Martin Hussingtree, reinforcing the importance of the locality in everything they do.
