Courtyard’s annual pantomime performance of Cinderella
This Christmas audiences will be taken on a journey from rags to riches in The Courtyard’s annual pantomime performance of Cinderella.
With a wicked Step Mother (played by Courtyard pantomime veteran Madi MacMahon) and two ugly sisters keeping her confined to cleaning duties, Cinderella’s chances of attending the Ball are looking slim.
However, when a glamorous Fairy Godmother appears to help Cinderella turn her rags to riches (and a pumpkin into a carriage!) her dream of meeting Prince Charming becomes a reality, as long as she doesn’t break her midnight curfew.
Will Cinderella escape the wrath of her evil stepmother and ugly sisters? Will she find a way out of washing and scrubbing? And will she ever reunite with her missing shoe?!
Join The Courtyard on this magical journey filled with adventure, fairy dust and catchy musical numbers. Featuring several Courtyard favourites, including Madi MacMahon (Wicked Stepmother), Isabella Rubin (Cinderella) and Ellis Kerkhoven (Ugly) and welcoming back the production dream team Estelle van Warmelo and Lyndsay Maples as director and writer.
With a heavy Hereford slant, local audiences can expect plenty of familiar references and Herefordshire based jokes.
Cinderella will be in The Courtyard’s Main House from Friday 29 November 2019 – Saturday 11 January 2020. To book tickets, or for more information contact the Box Office on 01432 340555 or visit www.courtyard.org.uk.
